New Age Spirituality

The main point with New Age Spirituality is that it is based on belief. Because spirituality is an experience in and of itself, it is entirely based on personal experience. Because you only refer to your own experiences and reports, spirituality does not pertain to any faith. You'll notice that all wonderful Spiritual teachers, healers, and the like will always stress the importance of "going within for all personal inquires" and that if you have any doubts, you should "go and research for yourself for your own self-discovery."

For example, a New Age teacher will tell you how to look, where to look, what to look for, and how to interpret what you find. Whereas a Spiritual Teacher will have you revisit those problems and acknowledge how they make you feel, as well as notice what feelings arise when they are thought about. They will assist and perceive without judgment, ultimately guiding you to a more positive and pure place. Although New Age Spirituality has opened many minds, it has not always been done with the best of intentions.

People's intentions and energy can be easily identified. New age Spiritualists are quick to respond and always give a simple, direct answer. Spiritual people, in my opinion, always give advice with an open-ended response. They always leave room for you to form your own opinions and determine how you will approach resolving your situation. At the end of the day, you can tell when someone is pure and loving; I believe many people have this judgment.
This is why I always say to take everything you hear with a grain of salt. Never believe the first thing you hear; instead, conduct your own research and form your own opinions. This is your journey, and you have complete control over how it unfolds. Don't let others mold your life.
